Asheville City Council voted to approve $14,645,000 to ArtsAVL, Eagle Market Streets Development Corporation, and Mountain BizWorks to collaboratively implement a portion of the CDBG-DR Small Business Support Program. 

The City of Asheville will now undergo several steps with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at the federal level before final approval is possible. Once that process is complete, ArtsAVL, Eagle Market Streets Development Corporation, and Mountain BizWorks will collaborate with the City of Asheville on program details. The grant program will likely be finalized and approved by Spring 2026.
